Asad Faulwell is an artist based in the Los Angeles area. He graduated from UCSB in 2005 before receiving his MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2008. While at Claremont he was awarded a Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant. Asad's work is featured in many private and public collections, including the Oppenheimer Collection at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, the Rubell Collection in Miami, the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA), the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the Franks-Suss Collection in London. His work has been written about in ArtForum, the Huffington Post, Harper's Bazaar Art, the N.Y. Times, the L.A. Times, and L.A. Weekly. Asad is currently represented by the Kravets/Wehby Gallery in New York, the Bill Brady Gallery in Miami, and the Lawrie/Shabibi Gallery in Dubai.
